Ardanus was the 13th abbot
Benedictine abbot, also called Ardaing, Ardan, or Ardagne. He was the abbot of the Benedictine monastery of Tournus, now in the diocese of Autun, France. Ardanus restored the monastic
buildings and cared for the surrounding populations, especially during the three-year famine starting in 1030.
