Blessed Margaret of Ravenna

Born at Russi (near Ravenna), Italy; died 1505. From her youth Margaret was almost blind, who not only suffered from a lack of empathy from her neighbors, but even injustice. Nevertheless, many of them were eventually won to friendship through her patience and humility. With the help of a priest, she formed a religious association of secular laity, but it did not survive
