St. Dominic of Sora

Died: 1031
Benedictine abbot and founder. Born in Foligno, Etruria, Italy, he established monasteries in the old kingdom of Naples. He died at Sora, in Campania.
He became a monk and founded several monasteries - at Scandrilia, Sora, Sangro, and elsewhere near Naples. He died in Sora in Campania at the age of eighty.
