SAINT MAMILIAN

St. Mamilian
Also known as Maximilian
Feast day: March 12

Date unknown.
All that is known about Mamilian is that he was a Roman martyr. It may be that the entry in the Roman Martyrology is actually a duplicate of Maximilian of Theveste and wrongly ascribed to martyrdom at Rome.  He was the son of Fabius Victor and was beheaded at Theveste, Numidia, now Tebessa, Algeria, on March 12 because he refused to join the Roman army.
