Saint Domitius was a Phrygian who was martyred by Julian the Apostate, probably at Caesarea in Palestine. It is possible that he is the unnamed martyred in the acta of Saint Basil of Ancrya. He publicly attacked the public entertainments in the circus, which were dedicated to the heathen gods
